Gladstone presents the best free concert/fireworks

GLADSTONE, Mo. — Over 10,000 residents and visitors are expected to attend this year’s Freedom Fest on July 4, 2026 at Happy Rock Park in Gladstone, featuring big time live entertainment, food vendors and one of the largest Independence Day fireworks displays in the Kansas City Metro.
Festivities will begin at noon, with fireworks scheduled to launch at approximately 9:20.
The free event will feature performances from Montgomery Gentry, The Elders and top regional acts throughout the day.
“Freedom Fest is bigger than our annual tradition with America’s 250th Anniversary.” said Jordon Brown, Director of Parks and Recs. “We work hard to provide a safe, family-friendly celebration that brings people together to honor Independence Day.”
