Every guitar collector comes to the moment when it is time to thin the herd.
Joe Walsh joked that he's selling items to "get more stuff," but his sale clears out a "knee-deep" accumulation of musical history.
It is a little sad for the collector, but it is an opportunity for the rest of us.

Hal, like Joe Walsh, is also knee-deep" in an accumulation of musical history.
He has some historic guitars, as well as a lot of very interesting “player” level guitars.
